Welcome! This interactive tool (currently a work in progress) is designed to help you explore and get familiar with the network of satellites orbiting Earth.

Hover over a satellite to view its orbit and key details.
Hold Alt and hover over Earth to check the local time at any location.
Use the controls (top right) to filter satellite groups, toggle orbit lines, and enable satellite shadows.

Note: Satellite positions are calculated using predictive orbital models based on the latest publicly available TLE (Two‑Line Element) data. Because satellites periodically adjust their orbits and atmospheric drag affects their paths, displayed positions may differ slightly from their exact real‑time locations.

Data source: All satellite data is provided by CelesTrak. When using the live version, the tool fetches the latest TLE data directly from CelesTrak each time the page loads. It does not continuously request live data in the background, helping to respect CelesTrak’s request limits.
